You’ve probably heard it before: “Change your thoughts, change your life.” And maybe you have changed your thoughts.

You’ve reframed your beliefs, repeated empowering mantras, visualized your abundant future. Consciously, you know you’re worthy of wealth.

So why isn’t it working?

Here’s what most manifestation teachings miss: your conscious mind runs about 5% of the show. The other 95%? That’s your subconscious, operating beneath your awareness, running programs you didn’t consciously choose.

While your conscious mind is saying “I am abundant,” your subconscious might be running a completely different script.

Like, “Money is the root of all evil. Success means stepping out of my comfort zone. More money means more problems.” And here’s the kicker, your body is part of that subconscious system.

Cognition isn’t just happening in your brain, it’s deeply rooted in your bodily experience. This is called embodied cognition, and it means your body isn’t just a vessel for your thoughts.

You didn’t choose these beliefs, but your nervous system encoded them as truth.
